The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) will hold 14 listening sessions across the United States to gather information for use in its upcoming report to the U.S. Trade Representative concerning trade-related barriers that U.S. small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) experience when exporting to the United Kingdom.
Specifically, the USITC is seeking information from U.S. SMEs on trade-related barriers that they believe disproportionately affect their exports to the United Kingdom, as compared to larger U.S. firms. This particularly interests the Commission, considering the uncertainty caused by the approaching withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The USITC is grateful for the substantial logistical assistance provided by the U.S. Small Business Administration in arranging these listening sessions and the significant assistance of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Service in coordinating the listening session event in Salt Lake City, UT.
